REMOTE Sr Electrical Engineer
Responsible for electrical product development, testing, and performance analysis for Class II/III medical devices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
- 4+ years of electrical product development experience for Class II/III medical devices
- Experience developing, designing, and executing test methods to characterize electromagnetic and RF performance
- Experience with electrical product development processes
- Experience creating and reviewing component specifications, schematics, and PCB artwork for medical devices
- Experience analyzing product performance using Design for Reliability and Manufacturability techniques
Preferred Skills:
- Experience writing detailed test reports
- Familiarity with neurostimulators, patient programmers, or similar medical device technology
Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of product development, including definition, design, troubleshooting, characterization, and verification of implantable and external neurostimulators and patient programmers
- Research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, and systems for medical devices
- Design electrical equipment, components, products, and test systems for medical devices
- Develop and execute test methods to assess electromagnetic and RF performance
- Create and review component specifications, schematics, and PCB artwork
- Analyze product performance using Design for Reliability and Manufacturability techniques
- Write detailed test reports to document findings and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Pay Details: $50.00 to $62.00 per hour
