Responsible for overseeing daily technical operations, managing new product development, and supporting legacy products while troubleshooting production issues.

Qualifications:

  • Five plus years of experience using Altium for PCB design and layout
  • Five plus years of hands-on experience in PCB layout and design
  • Proven ability to lead electrical engineers through complex design challenges
  • Experience managing a team of three engineers, including remote team members in India
  • Availability to conduct meetings at 7 AM twice weekly to align with India team's schedule
  • Experience with component selection, particularly modernizing existing components such as pressure sensors
  • Proficiency in PCBA layout
  • Familiarity with intrinsic safety product design
  • Knowledge of UL standards for intrinsic safety, including agency regulatory and compliance

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee technical operations and lead the engineering team
  • Focus 60% of efforts on new product development, managing two major product initiatives concurrently
  • Interface deliverables from initial concept through full development
  • Develop Design Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (DFMEAs)
  • Create comprehensive development test plans for manual validation testing
  • Conduct peer reviews and ensure timely completion of action items
  • Support legacy products and take ownership of troubleshooting and resolving production downtime issues


Pay Details: $49.00 to $66.00 per hour
