Sr Project Manager
Responsible for leading and managing projects in the midstream/upstream oil & gas and gas plant industry, ensuring project execution, quality deliverables, budget adherence, and schedule management.
Job Requirements:
- Engineering background required (Mechanical Engineer or Chemical Process Engineer)
- Experience in vessel fabrication, data sheets, sizing, and developing/redlining P&IDs & PFDs
- Experience with MS Project for scheduling
- Strong knowledge of midstream/upstream oil & gas and gas plant industry
- Experience with vendor quote reviews, technical bid evaluations, and performing clarifications
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in process hazard analysis (PHA) and design reviews
- Familiarity with management of change (MOC) documentation processes
- Understanding of project cost control and monitoring project budgets
- Experience in coordinating vendor documentation and conducting squad checks
Job Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers and internal project teams
- Develop and execute project strategies to meet quality, budget, and schedule goals
- Identify and resolve obstacles to keep projects on track
- Work with the Director to establish project objectives, reviewing proposals and schedules
- Identify and drive the closure of project action items
- Lead and attend project reviews and meetings, including design reviews, PHAs, and weekly progress meetings
- Develop meeting minutes and review documentation from project meetings
- Assign deliverables and responsibilities, ensuring scopes of work are clearly defined
- Identify and document scope changes or additions through Management of Change (MOC) processes
- Develop and maintain project schedules using MS Project, incorporating input from all engineering disciplines
- Monitor and control project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving issues
- Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing key information and trends
- Develop and redline P&IDs and PFDs for process optimization and project execution
- Review and coordinate vendor documentation, ensuring complete and thorough squad checks are conducted
Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
