Sr Track Engineer
Provides expert-level support for Maximo (EAM) with SQL development skills while ensuring compliance with track inspection standards and maintenance requirements for an FRA Class 4 railroad or higher.
Job Requirements:
- Superuser-level expertise in Maximo (EAM) with SQL developer skills.
- Minimum of 20 years of rail experience, including at least 8 years as a track inspector, foreman, or supervisor.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience inspecting or working on an FRA Class 4 railroad or higher.
- Knowledge of TRST-1000 Track Maintenance and Inspection Standards and WMATA Design Criteria.
- Ability to perform track geometry measurements such as gauge, cross level, and alignment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience mentoring and training personnel on TRST inspection and maintenance systems.
- Familiarity with WMATA Roadway Worker Protection and safety/operating rules.
- Ability to develop inspection plans and schedules for compliance with the TRST-1000 Manual.
- Experience conducting cost-benefit analyses for new projects and evaluating the cost and schedule impact of project changes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure track inspections and reports meet TRST-1000 Track Maintenance and Inspection Manual requirements.
- Mentor and train personnel on TRST inspection and maintenance systems.
- Assist in developing inspection plans and schedules to ensure compliance with TRST-1000 standards.
- Support project management in cost-benefit analysis and impact assessments for project changes.
- Perform site visits and quality checks on track inspectors.
- Comply with WMATA Roadway Worker Protection and safety/operating rules while performing field duties.
Pay Details: $97,000.00 to $145,000.00 per year
