Responsible for overseeing document management processes, ensuring compliance with client requirements, managing document control systems, and leading a team to support construction projects.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in document control for construction projects
  • Significant experience with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) such as Aconex, Unifier, Kahua, InEight, or similar
  • Strong knowledge of document control procedures, naming conventions, and metadata taxonomy
  • Experience managing permissions and roles within EDMS tools
  • Ability to coordinate with IT teams to ensure field devices have updated drawings and specifications

Preferred Skills

  • Experience onboarding and offboarding staff within EDMS and SharePoint systems
  • Knowledge of distribution matrix management and access control for documentation
  • Ability to train internal and external stakeholders on document management systems and processes
  • Familiarity with integrating document management practices within an Integrated Program Management Team (IPMT)
  • Experience providing ongoing training, including Open Office hours and one-on-one training sessions

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead a document control team, ensuring tasks are clearly defined and resources are effectively managed
  • Oversee the onboarding and offboarding process to enable or disable accounts in EDMS and SharePoint systems
  • Support the Integrated Program Management Team (IPMT) by providing tools, training, and document management guidance
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and timely processing of documents across all project stakeholders
  • Act as the liaison between construction teams and IT to maintain system functionality for field devices
  • Maintain and update document control procedures, naming conventions, and metadata taxonomy
  • Ensure compliance with document management processes and procedures across all teams and stakeholders


Pay Details: $74,000.00 to $139,000.00 per year
