Sr PCB Designer
Responsible for all phases of creation and management of the printed circuit design process, including leading or assisting on projects with multiple PC Boards using the latest Cadence software suite and MCAD models.
Job Requirements
- Associates degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical-Mechanical Engineering Technology, or 510 years of industry experience as a PC Board Designer using Cadence Allegro or comparable software.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
Required Skills
- Proficiency with Cadence Allegro PCB Editor V17.4 or newer.
- Experience with Cadence Concept and HDL Schematic Capture.
- Familiarity with Cadence Constraint Manager.
- Competence in Allegro System Capture V17.4 or newer.
- Knowledge of PDM tools for design release.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Cadence SigXP, Power Integrity, or 3D modeling.
- Proficiency in Siemens Nx V11 or newer MCAD.
- Programming experience in scripting languages such as Allegro Skill, AWK, or Perl.
- Understanding of industry and IPC standards for PCB Design and Library structure.
- Knowledge of EDA/EDM tools like Allegro PCB Librarian & Manager V17.4 or newer.
- Familiarity with Cadence and EDA license servers.
- Experience with Altium Designer System Engineering.
- Knowledge of PTC Windchill.
- Understanding of PCB documentation standards (e.g., IPC-D-325A).
- Background in medical device development.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead or assist in projects involving the design of multiple PC Boards.
- Utilize Cadence tools to perform PCB design tasks from concept to release.
- Coordinate with engineering groups, including Electrical, Mechanical, and Manufacturing teams.
- Ensure designs adhere to industry and company standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external engineering teams for project success.
Pay Details: $43.00 to $58.00 per hour
