Project Engineer

Senior Manufacturing Engineer responsible for leading engineering projects, equipment implementations, and process improvements in a GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Job Requirements

• 6+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or related engineering field

• Experience working with manufacturing and capital equipment in GMP environments

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical equipment, processes, and facility operations

• Experience with Solid Oral Dose (SOD) manufacturing

• Proficiency with CAD tools

• Experience creating, reviewing, and maintaining SOPs

Preferred Skills

• Background in process improvement or packaging engineering

• Chemical engineering experience in a regulated manufacturing environment

Job Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects related to manufacturing equipment, facilities, and processes in a GMP setting

• Specify, select, and support installation and qualification of pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging equipment

• Develop, review, and update CAD drawings for equipment layouts, utilities, and facility modifications

• Create, maintain, and improve SOPs and technical documentation for equipment operation and maintenance

• Support Solid Oral Dose manufacturing processes through troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions

• Identify and implement process improvements to increase reliability, throughput, and yield

• Ensure equipment and processes meet GMP, safety, and regulatory requirements

• Provide technical support during equipment commissioning, validation, and routine operations

• Participate in capital project planning, scope definition, and technical evaluations of vendors and equipment options

Pay: 40-60

Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
