FANUC Robot Programmer – Paint – Programs, tests, and optimizes FANUC paint robots for an on-site automotive/industrial project.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on experience programming FANUC robots in production environments.

  • Direct experience with paint process programming (paths, triggers, flow rates, atomizers, color changes).

  • Ability to support on-site work in Arlington, TX for a minimum duration of 6 months (potentially up to 1 year).

  • Availability to work 50–60 hours per week, including weekends as required.

  • Experience with online and offline FANUC programming (TP programming, frames, tool setup, I/O).

  • Experience with robot safety standards and safe operating practices in an industrial setting.

Preferred Skills:

  • Paint process experience on General Motors programs or similar large OEM automotive paint lines.

  • Experience tuning paint parameters for quality, coverage, transfer efficiency, and cycle time.

  • Experience integrating robots with PLCs, conveyors, and vision or sensor systems.

  • Experience commissioning new robotic paint cells, including dry runs, tryouts, and production ramp-up.

  • Experience creating and maintaining robot backups, version control, and documentation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Program, test, and debug FANUC robots for paint applications, including path programming, process tuning, and I/O integration.

  • Configure and optimize spray parameters, gun controls, and sequencing to meet coverage and quality requirements.

  • Support installation, setup, and commissioning of robotic paint systems on-site at the customer facility.

  • Troubleshoot robot and process issues on the production floor and implement corrective actions.

  • Adjust robot paths and programs to address part changes, tooling changes, and quality feedback.

  • Maintain robot programs, backups, and configuration documentation throughout the project.

  • Collaborate with process, quality, and controls teams to meet cycle time, throughput, and paint quality targets.

  • Provide on-site support during extended hours and weekends to support production schedules and launch milestones.



Pay Details: $32.00 to $43.00 per hour
