Summary: Seeking an Electrical Designer to create and revise electrical schematics and documentation for manufacturing equipment.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Electrical Design, Drafting, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with AutoCAD Electrical or similar CAD software.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
  • Familiarity with electrical components such as relays, VFDs, circuit breakers, PLCs.
  • Experience with industrial control systems and design standards like UL 508A or CE.
  • Exposure to PLC systems; programming not required.
  • Experience using ERP systems for BOM generation or modification.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and revise electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and BOMs.
  • Interpret redlines and design notes for accurate drawing production.
  • Apply design rules and component specifications from engineering leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with codes and internal standards (UL, CE, NFPA 79).
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to resolve design issues.
  • Maintain drawing files and revision history within documentation system.
  • Support shop floor during panel builds and assembly as needed.


Pay Details: $45.00 to $55.00 per hour
