Summary: Seeking a Product Engineer with expertise in mechanical engineering for heavy equipment design and technical leadership.

  • Requirements:

    • US Citizen or Green Card holder
    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
    • 5+ years experience designing mechanical components/systems for heavy equipment, preferably mining equipment
    • Experience with NX and TeamCenter preferred; other CAD packages considered
    • Experience designing welded structures and/or hydraulics
  • Preferred Skills:

    • Ability to perform design and analysis
  • Responsibilities:

    • Maintain assigned product model(s) throughout the product life cycle
    • Act as technical lead for assigned product line(s)
    • Coordinate with various departments to drive continuous improvement and innovation
    • Prioritize product improvements and quality issues using CPI process
    • Create and approve Engineering Change Notices (ECNs)
    • Implement common solutions across product models
    • Perform and approve design calculations
    • Lead cost reduction and assembly optimization projects
    • Manage a team of design engineers
    • Cooperate with remote resources and contractors as needed
    • Visit mine sites for customer feedback engagement
    • Maintain product line options lists/configurations


Pay Details: $85,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
