Summary: Seeking a Tooling Engineer with expertise in high volume progressive die stamping tools for managing and troubleshooting over 1,000 client tools.

Requirements:

  • Experience with high volume progressive die stamping tools within the past 3-5 years
  • Proficiency in inspecting finished dies for accuracy and functionality
  • Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing issues for precision and quality
  • Skilled in repairing and overhauling inoperable tools
  • Experience obtaining quotes for new dies and repairs
  • Capability to order tooling and components for new builds
  • Supervisory skills for initial tool use in production
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, CAD software, operating basic machine tools, mechanical and optical measuring devices

Responsibilities:

  • Manage client's tool inventory exceeding 1,000 units
  • Troubleshoot issues with tools when they malfunction
  • Replace old or repaired tools as needed
  • Document new processes and reverse engineer old parts
  • Utilize vision systems, CAD drawings, review blueprints
  • Assist with first article inspection (FAI) to ensure new parts are correct


Pay Details: $33.00 to $45.00 per hour
