SmartPlant Administrator / Sr Piping Engineer

Summary: Seeking a SmartPlant Administrator and Senior Piping Engineer to develop and maintain piping system designs for industrial gas turbine power projects.

• Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field (preferred)
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering design systems
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Smart 3D (S3D) administration
  • Strong knowledge of Hexagon Smart 3D setup, configuration, and management
  • Experience with model databases and project schema configuration
  • Familiarity with integration tools like SmartPLANT Foundation

• Preferred Skills:

  • Understanding of 3D modeling workflows, piping specs, and plant layout

• Responsibilities:

  • Support installation, configuration, upgrade, and maintenance of Hexagon Smart 3D software
  • Administer project environments and model databases under established architecture
  • Maintain consistency in naming conventions within Project Management module
  • Assist in setting up site environments using database tools (Oracle/MS SQL)
  • Provide S3D support across all engineering disciplines
  • Troubleshoot modeling issues and resolve reference data errors

Pay Details: $50.00 to $55.00 per hour
