Automation Engineer
Summary: Seeking an Automation Engineer with expertise in Building Automation Systems (BAS) design and implementation for regulated industries.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 5-8 years of experience in BAS design and implementation
- Proficiency in BAS platforms such as Siemens Desigo, Tridium Niagara, Honeywell EBI, Johnson Controls Metasys
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, control theory, and network protocols (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office suite, and Bluebeam
- Experience with programming DDC controllers and configuring HMI/graphics interfaces
Responsibilities:
- Develop control system architecture and detailed design documents for BAS including HVAC, lighting, energy management, and environmental monitoring systems
- Specify and configure DDC controllers, instrumentation, and network infrastructure
- Create control logic framework, sequences of operation, and integration strategies for third-party systems (e.g., fire alarm, security, BMS)
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to provide formal recommendations of controls solutions and strategies
Pay Details: $60.00 to $65.00 per hour
