Summary: Seeking an Automation Engineer with expertise in Building Automation Systems (BAS) design and implementation for regulated industries.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5-8 years of experience in BAS design and implementation
  • Proficiency in BAS platforms such as Siemens Desigo, Tridium Niagara, Honeywell EBI, Johnson Controls Metasys
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, control theory, and network protocols (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office suite, and Bluebeam
  • Experience with programming DDC controllers and configuring HMI/graphics interfaces

Responsibilities:

  • Develop control system architecture and detailed design documents for BAS including HVAC, lighting, energy management, and environmental monitoring systems
  • Specify and configure DDC controllers, instrumentation, and network infrastructure
  • Create control logic framework, sequences of operation, and integration strategies for third-party systems (e.g., fire alarm, security, BMS)
  • Conduct site surveys and assessments to provide formal recommendations of controls solutions and strategies


Pay Details: $60.00 to $65.00 per hour
