Summary: Seeking an NVH Engineer with expertise in vehicle/heavy machinery testing, NVH instrumentation, and sound/vibration analysis for comprehensive test management and data analysis.

Requirements:

  • BS Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Agricultural, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in vehicle/heavy machinery testing or product development
  • 2+ years of experience with NVH test instrumentation and data acquisition tools
  • 2+ years of experience in sound/vibration signal processing and sound quality analysis

Preferred Skills:

  • Leadership skills

Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed test requests with procedures and acceptance criteria
  • Assign tests to engineers/technicians based on expertise and workload
  • Select, calibrate, and install appropriate instrumentation for data integrity
  • Perform tests on components, sub-systems, or full vehicles
  • Collect and analyze data using software processing tools to assess performance
  • Conduct frequency analysis, modal analysis, order tracking, transfer path analysis
  • Document results through technical reports and present findings to stakeholders
  • Benchmark competitive equipment for best-in-class positioning


Pay Details: $60.00 to $80.00 per hour
