Controls Engineer
Summary: Seeking a Controls Engineer with expertise in PLC programming, electrical schematics, and control systems development for automated equipment.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in PLC programming (Allen Bradley preferred)
- Ability to create electrical schematics
- Experience with servos, motion controllers, and motors
- Proficiency in Java, C#, and C++
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Experience in manufacturing or custom equipment
- Experience with 3D design software
- Experience using software development tools, database systems, or scripting languages
Preferred Skills:
- ITAR Work Regulations knowledge
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of control systems for automated equipment
- Manage all phases of controls development from requirements to commissioning
- Collaborate with mechanical and process engineering teams for system requirements
- Specify electrical, pneumatic, thermal, and motion control components
- Oversee creation and revision of electrical schematics
- Design and develop control systems software including PLCs and servo drives programming
- Execute system startup, debug, tuning, and machine qualification
- Provide troubleshooting support for production machinery
- Manage technical resources and coordinate project timelines
- Implement software changes for upgrades or improvements
- Contribute to creation of software templates and standards
- Ensure system compliance with safety and performance standards
Pay Details: $115,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
