Summary: Seeking a Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement custom automation equipment with expertise in PLCs and data-driven improvements.

Requirements:

  • BS Degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 2+ years experience in designing, developing, and implementing custom automation equipment
  • Expertise in developing systems incorporating PLCs, PC-based controls, and data-driven improvements
  • Ability to work with PLC Programmers for troubleshooting and code writing
  • Familiarity with Allen Bradley programming

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct approximately 80% office/shop floor design work and 20% hands-on debugging and commissioning
  • Design, evaluate, and develop advanced engineered systems and controls
  • Conceptualize, model, and integrate hardware, software, and data within multi-disciplinary teams
  • Develop emerging technologies with built-in quality checks (poka-yoke processes)
  • Collaborate with IT department on integration and network security
  • Implement data-driven MES solutions aligned with Industry4.0 practices
  • Specify and program various robotics to meet customer requirements
  • Create electrical prints and diagrams for shop floor execution
  • Debug control systems in manufacturing environments
  • Mentor team members in robotics applications


Pay Details: $33.00 to $45.00 per hour
