Summary: Seeking a Director of Chemical Innovation to lead the discovery, development, and commercialization of proprietary chemical technologies at Crayola.

  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, engineering, or a master's degree in business or marketing; MBA preferred.
    • Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in technical or product development roles.
    • Proven ability to lead high-performing teams of innovators, chemists, engineers, and scientists.

  • Preferred Skills:

    • CPG experience with a preference for toy industry exposure.
    • Expertise in building innovative technologies aligned with strategic business goals.

  • Responsibilities:

    • Develop and lead chemical innovation strategy identifying new product segments and technology platforms.
    • Translate consumer needs into actionable scientific direction for proprietary chemical technologies.
    • Lead and develop a team fostering technical excellence and continuous learning.
    • Oversee technical functions including formulation development and technical validation.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product commercialization.


Pay Details: $169,000.00 to $185,000.00 per year
