Operate and set up CNC lathe machines to produce high-quality parts according to detailed specifications, drawings, and established quality standards.


Job Requirements:

  • Proficient in CNC lathe machine operation, including C and Y axis setups

  • Experience using jaws of various sizes and collets (16C and 5C)

  • Familiarity with Okuma and FANUC controls preferred

  • Ability to read and interpret customer drawings and apply GD&T

  • Experience using hard gauges and plate checks for inspection

  • Knowledge of SPC charts and job traveler documentation

  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision

  • Attention to detail with ability to maintain high quality standards under time constraints


Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with general manufacturing procedures and safety standards

  • Comfortable with computer-based documentation and machine interfaces

  • Ability to multitask and run multiple machines when cycle times allow


Job Responsibilities:

  • Set up CNC lathe machines independently and follow written work instructions

  • Produce parts that meet or exceed internal and customer specifications

  • Conduct quality checks using proper inspection methods and tools

  • Complete all associated documentation and SPC charts accurately

  • Maintain consistent output and high-quality results while operating multiple machines when feasible

  • Adhere to established procedures, safety standards, and departmental priorities



Pay Details: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour
