Mechanical Driveline Technician
Seeking a Mechanical Technician to support driveline lab operations through precision assembly, disassembly, inspection, and documentation of components.
Job Requirements:

Experience with hands-on assembly and disassembly of mechanical driveline components

Ability to inspect transmissions, axles, and gearboxes to engineering specifications

Familiarity with documenting inspection findings and assembly steps

Capable of identifying and communicating assembly or fit-up issues

Skilled in the use of basic shop power tools (bandsaw, drill press, grinders)

Understanding of precision mechanical tolerances and specifications
Preferred Skills:
-
Experience working with prototype components in a lab environment

Ability to propose improvements for ease of assembly

Familiarity interfacing with cross-functional engineering teams
Job Responsibilities:
-
Assemble and disassemble driveline components including transmissions, gearboxes, and axles

Perform inspections according to engineering specifications and document findings
-
Modify or fabricate test fixtures or parts using shop tools

Communicate technical feedback to engineering teams

Support test operations by ensuring all mechanical components meet required standards

Collaborate with Design, Materials, and Manufacturing teams for continuous improvement
Pay Details: $27.00 to $32.00 per hour
