Summary: Seeking a Purchasing Lead with expertise in the automotive industry to manage sourcing activities and oversee new product line introductions.

  • Requirements:

    • BS in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business preferred
    • 3-5 years of experience in Purchasing/Procurement or Materials Management in the automotive industry
    • Strong negotiation skills and understanding of contracting techniques
    • Must pass a drug screen (THC included) and background check
  • Preferred Skills:

    • Experience with supplier mining techniques, risk assessments, and performance management
  • Responsibilities:

    • Lead sourcing activities for new product lines
    • Establish supply base through supplier mining and development plans
    • Prepare and analyze RFQ/RFIs for cost competitiveness
    • Maintain communication with suppliers to build relationships
    • Lead supplier meetings and strategy development
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for sourcing decisions


Pay Details: $29.00 to $39.00 per hour
