Electrical Engineer
Summary: Seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for design and implementation of electrical systems in industrial facilities, with a focus on low voltage and utility transmission.
Job Requirements:

PE License from any state, with preference for those licensed in western states.

10-20 years of relevant experience.

Experience in electrical design for industrial facilities; semiconductor facility experience a plus.

Proficiency with low voltage systems (480v and below).

Experience with utility transmission systems.

Knowledgeable in lighting system design.
Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with NEC requirements including electrical clearances, circuit sizing, de-rating, motor circuit design, transformer feeder design, and separation of class 1/2/3 wiring.

I&C design/PLC panel design background is advantageous but not mandatory.
Job Responsibilities:

Develop electrical system designs for industrial projects.

Ensure compliance with all relevant codes and standards.

Collaborate effectively with project teams to meet strategic objectives.
Additional Notes:

Hybrid work schedule requiring residence in the Portland area.

Position is a 9-month contract-to-direct opportunity.

Work week is Monday to Friday on first shift.
Pay Details: $47.00 to $63.00 per hour
