Summary: Seeking a Business Development Representative with sales experience in manufacturing to pursue new market opportunities and build long-term customer relationships.

Requirements:

  • Sales/Business Development experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Knowledge of steel and CNC machining process capabilities
  • Results-oriented, sales mentality
  • General computer skills (MS Office tools, specifically Excel)

Preferred Skills:

  • AAS/BS in Engineering/Technology
  • 10+ years of manufacturing experience
  • Background in CNC machining
  • Contacts within Ag, Construction, and Material Handling OEM's

Responsibilities:

  • Assist VP Business Development in devising strategies to achieve business development targets
  • Identify and pursue leads for new customer acquisition
  • Develop, negotiate, and close new business deals
  • Attend exhibitions to generate customer leads and opportunities
  • Generate business opportunities from existing customers
  • Maintain follow-up from RFQ receipt to award of the business
  • Visit customer locations to strengthen existing relationships


Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
