Controls Engineer
Summary: Seeking a Controls Engineer to lead and enhance electrical, mechanical, and control systems design with a focus on Python programming and PLC integration.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or 6 years of experience in programming and equipment installation
- Training in PLC, HMI, Visual Basic, Fanuc
- Strong industrial communication skills for Ethernet/IP, DeviceNet, DH+, Hart, RS232
- Proficiency in installing operating systems on Microsoft Windows XP, 2000-2003 server, Windows 7
- AutoCAD Mechanical, Electrical, and Inventor drawing skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Client/Server architecture and SQL databases
- Familiarity with Ignition by Inductive Automation
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the engineering department in system reliability and efficient plant operations
- Coordinate design and installation of PLC control systems
- Maintain industrial network backbone and data collection systems
- Assist in maintaining standards for PLC programming and HMI layouts
- Manage third-party contractor support when needed
Pay Details: $45.00 to $55.00 per hour
