Oversee financial operations, internal controls, budgeting, and reporting for a manufacturing organization with sales exceeding $25 million annually.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in Accounting or Finance within a manufacturing environment

  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Controller with full financial responsibility

  • Working knowledge of US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance

  • Experience with both manual and automated accounting systems

  • Strong financial analysis capabilities


Preferred Skills:

  • CPA certification

  • Background in companies with annual sales over $25 million

  • Affiliations with successful manufacturing organizations

  • Proven ability to manage financial teams and internal audits

  • Proficiency in microcomputer operations and accounting software systems


Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and execute profit planning, budgeting, and cost control processes

  • Protect business assets through internal controls, auditing, and insurance coverage

  • Prepare financial statements and ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal policies

  • Monitor performance against operating plans and prepare analytical reports for management

  • Ensure financial internal controls are in place and functioning properly

  • Maintain compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations

  • Support operational units with financial data and performance insights

  • Present critical matters to executive leadership for review and decision-making

  • Authorize cash disbursements in accordance with corporate policies

  • Implement operational strategies aligned with business objectives

  • Perform other duties as assigned by executive management



Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
