Industrial Engineer
Industrial Engineer needed to develop, install, and maintain cost-effective manufacturing methods and equitable operating standards in a production environment.
Job Requirements:

1–3 years of experience in industrial engineering

Experience in a manufacturing environment (minimum 1 year required)

Ability to problem solve and work within an engineering team

Proficiency in developing standards and measuring work content
-
Understanding of cost-effective manufacturing principles and workplace layout design
-
Knowledge of motion economy principles and handling device integration
Preferred Skills:
-
Familiarity with developing and maintaining Management Information Systems for planning and control

Experience investigating production variances and implementing corrective measures
-
Exposure to performance metrics and cost reduction strategies
Job Responsibilities:

Develop, install, and maintain cost-effective manufacturing methods

Participate in new product line planning to optimize for manufacturability

Design workplace layouts using motion economy principles
-
Measure and analyze variances to production standards and implement corrective actions

Monitor and maintain performance within budgeted parameters
-
Identify and implement effective manufacturing technologies and methods
-
Maintain standards structure and cost-effective manufacturing practices
-
Track and report methods changes aimed at production cost reduction
-
Perform additional duties as assigned
Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
