Industrial Engineer

Industrial Engineer needed to develop, install, and maintain cost-effective manufacturing methods and equitable operating standards in a production environment.

Job Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience in industrial engineering

• Experience in a manufacturing environment (minimum 1 year required)

• Ability to problem solve and work within an engineering team

• Proficiency in developing standards and measuring work content

• Understanding of cost-effective manufacturing principles and workplace layout design

• Knowledge of motion economy principles and handling device integration

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with developing and maintaining Management Information Systems for planning and control

• Experience investigating production variances and implementing corrective measures

• Exposure to performance metrics and cost reduction strategies

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, install, and maintain cost-effective manufacturing methods

• Participate in new product line planning to optimize for manufacturability

• Design workplace layouts using motion economy principles

• Measure and analyze variances to production standards and implement corrective actions

• Monitor and maintain performance within budgeted parameters

• Identify and implement effective manufacturing technologies and methods

• Maintain standards structure and cost-effective manufacturing practices

• Track and report methods changes aimed at production cost reduction

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
