Finance Manager
Plant Controller responsible for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, inventory valuation, profitability analysis, and manufacturing financial performance.
Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
-
5–8+ years of experience in a manufacturing cost environment

Experience managing accounting systems and manufacturing cost reporting
-
Experience with budgeting and forecasting
-
Experience performing manufacturing cost variance analysis
-
Experience with standard costing
-
Knowledge of U.S. GAAP
-
Experience with inventory valuation and reconciliation
-
Experience reviewing bills of materials for cost accuracy
-
Experience evaluating capital investment projects
-
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
-
Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms
-
Experience supervising or leading accounting staff
Preferred Skills

MBA or Master of Science in Finance

Oracle ERP experience

SAP experience

Experience leading cost-reduction initiatives

Experience supporting financial, quality, or environmental management systems

Experience developing manufacturing financial reports and KPI tracking
Job Responsibilities

Manage plant accounting activities and financial reporting
-
Lead annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting processes
-
Perform manufacturing cost variance analysis
-
Develop and implement cost control and cost reduction initiatives

Lead annual standard cost updates
-
Ensure inventory balances are properly stated in accordance with U.S. GAAP

Review bills of materials for cost and product accuracy
-
Evaluate capital investment proposals and financial returns
-
Maintain financial visibility for plant leadership
-
Provide financial analysis supporting plant performance and profitability decisions
-
Support month-end and periodic financial reporting requirements
-
Maintain accounting and cost records within ERP systems
-
Support financial management system requirements and continuous improvement initiatives

Supervise and prioritize work for Cost Accounting personnel

Establish accounting priorities, performance expectations, and financial objectives
Pay Details: $120,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
