Supplier Quality Specialist
Supplier Quality Coordinator supporting supplier qualification, quality performance, corrective actions, audits, incoming quality controls, and supplier improvement activities.
Job Requirements

Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent education and relevant experience considered
-
2–5 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Quality, Supply Chain, or a related environment preferred
-
Experience with supplier qualification, corrective actions, nonconformance management, audits, incoming inspection, or supplier performance monitoring
-
Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS)

Experience with root-cause analysis and corrective-action methodologies
-
Ability to interpret specifications, quality documentation, inspection requirements, and supplier corrective-action responses

Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Ability to work in office, manufacturing, warehouse, and supplier environments

Ability to sit for extended periods and stand or walk during audits and inspections
-
Ability to occasionally bend, reach, stoop, climb stairs, and lift or move materials up to approximately 25 pounds

Ability to travel by automobile and/or air as required

Job Responsibilities
-
Manage supplier qualification, approval, monitoring, and periodic re-evaluation for raw materials, components, and finished products
-
Maintain supplier quality documentation, including assessments, certifications, specifications, Certificates of Analysis (CoAs), Certificates of Conformance (CoCs), Quality Agreements, and related records
-
Manage supplier quality issues involving nonconformances, material or product defects, complaints, and documentation discrepancies
-
Coordinate Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs), including root-cause analysis, corrective actions, follow-up, and closure
-
Support supplier audits and assessments, including planning, execution, reporting, and corrective-action follow-up
-
Support incoming material and finished-product quality controls, including specifications, inspection requirements, acceptance criteria, and traceability
-
Monitor supplier performance using KPIs, scorecards, nonconformance trends, audit results, and quality metrics
-
Escalate recurring or significant supplier quality issues
-
Support new supplier, material, product, and supplier-change qualifications in accordance with quality and change-control requirements
-
Maintain supplier quality records in QMS, ERP, and other controlled systems
-
Support supplier control improvements and ongoing supplier quality initiatives
Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $78,000.00 per year
