Assembly Operator
Quality Technician responsible for manufacturing inspections, supplier quality, nonconformance management, corrective actions, audits, and QMS compliance.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Associate’s degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards.
- Experience performing incoming, in-process, and line-side inspections.
- Experience managing non-conforming materials.
- Knowledge of Supplier Nonconformance Report (NCR) and Material Review Board (MRB) processes.
- Experience with root cause analysis tools, including 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA).
- Knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).
- Experience with control plans and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA).
- Experience conducting internal audits.
- Experience managing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with SAP and/or Quality Management System software.
- Experience analyzing manufacturing and quality data.
Preferred Skills
- Quality Assurance certification.
- Experience coordinating calibration activities.
- Experience supporting customer quality requirements and complaint resolution.
- Experience maintaining ISO 9001 QMS documentation.
- Experience with supplier quality management.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform incoming, in-process, and line-side quality inspections.
- Verify compliance with production specifications, quality procedures, and customer requirements.
- Monitor supplier quality and address supplier-related nonconformances.
- Manage Supplier NCR and Material Review Board processes.
- Identify, document, and control non-conforming materials.
- Conduct internal quality audits.
- Initiate and manage corrective and preventive actions.
- Validate the effectiveness of implemented corrective actions.
- Perform root cause investigations using established quality tools.
- Update work instructions and maintain QMS documentation.
- Coordinate calibration processes for inspection and measurement equipment.
- Support APQP, control plan, and PFMEA activities.
- Review customer-specific quality requirements and special instructions.
- Participate in customer complaint investigations and corrective action activities.
- Maintain inspection, audit, corrective action, and quality records.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
