Senior Principal Hardware Electrical Engineer position focused on complex embedded digital hardware, high-speed circuit design, FPGA-based systems, secure processing, and production-ready electrical architecture.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
10+ years of electrical design experience
Experience developing complex embedded digital hardware from concept through production
Experience leading complex digital hardware programs
Experience architecting electrical circuit solutions for secure processing, storage systems, networking systems, FPGA-based designs, high-speed interfaces, and electronics for extreme environments
Experience with high-speed and high-performance interfaces
Experience with memory technologies and next-generation interconnects
Experience with signal integrity
U.S. citizenship or authorization eligibility required due to access-controlled information
Preferred Skills
Experience with 400G+ Ethernet
Experience with PCIe Gen5+
Experience with DDR5+
Experience with modern interconnect technologies
Experience with Cadence Schematic Capture tools or equivalent
Experience with Cadence Allegro or equivalent CAD/SI tools
Experience with Mentor Valydate or schematic integrity tools
Experience with reliability and stress analysis, including FMECA and derating
Experience with requirements and workflow tools, including DOORS, JAMA, JIRA, and Confluence
Experience supporting proposals, cost estimates, schedule estimates, and BOE development
Job Responsibilities
Lead complex digital hardware programs from concept through production
Architect electrical circuit solutions for secure processing, storage systems, networking systems, FPGA-based designs, high-speed interfaces, and extreme environment electronics
Develop high-speed digital hardware designs using 400G+ Ethernet, PCIe Gen5+, DDR5+, and modern interconnect technologies
Execute development and verification of complex circuits, modules, and systems
Support signal integrity analysis for high-speed and high-performance designs
Contribute to engineering best practices, design guidelines, and process improvements
Provide technical guidance on risks, cost, schedule, and program direction
Use schematic capture, CAD, signal integrity, and schematic integrity tools to support hardware design activities
Perform reliability and stress analysis, including FMECA and derating
Use requirements and workflow tools to support engineering execution and documentation
Support proposal development, cost estimating, schedule estimating, and BOE development
Pay: 190k-220k/year

Pay Details: $190,000.00 to $220,000.00 per year
