Manufacturing Quality Engineer responsible for supporting customer and manufacturing quality, investigating nonconformances, and leading corrective actions within an IATF-compliant environment.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality engineering role.
  • Experience with customer complaints, returns, nonconformances, and internal quality issues.
  • Experience performing root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949 requirements.
  • Experience supporting Measurement System Analysis (MSA) studies.
  • Experience with statistical analysis, SPC, and DOE.
  • Proficiency with Minitab or equivalent statistical software.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience supporting quality systems, internal audits, document control, and calibration processes.

Preferred Skills

  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification or active pursuit of certification.
  • IATF 16949 auditor certification.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Experience supporting process capability improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support customer quality and manufacturing quality activities.
  • Serve as a technical liaison between customers, operations, engineering, and quality functions.
  • Investigate customer complaints, product returns, nonconformances, and internal quality issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis on quality and manufacturing issues.
  • Develop and lead corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support initiatives to reduce defects and improve process capability.
  • Perform and support MSA studies.
  • Analyze quality and manufacturing data using statistical methods.
  • Support SPC and DOE activities using Minitab or equivalent software.
  • Support internal quality audits.
  • Maintain quality documentation and document control requirements.
  • Support calibration awareness and compliance activities.
  • Support compliance with IATF 16949 requirements.
  • Track and report quality performance, corrective actions, and process improvement results.


Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
