Quality Tech
Perform dimensional inspection and quality verification of sheet metal parts and assemblies using standard measurement, inspection, and test equipment.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Quality technician training or relevant quality inspection experience.
- Experience inspecting sheet metal parts and assemblies.
- Experience using standard measurement, inspection, and test equipment.
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) as applied to sheet metal stampings and assemblies.
- Mechanical knowledge related to manufactured components and assemblies.
- Computer experience with quality or manufacturing systems.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CMS.
- Experience with Funnel Cloud.
- Experience performing dimensional inspection of stamped sheet metal components.
- Experience with quality documentation and inspection records.
- Experience supporting manufacturing quality investigations.
Job Responsibilities
- Inspect sheet metal parts and assemblies for compliance with dimensional and quality requirements.
- Use measurement, inspection, and test equipment to verify product specifications.
- Perform inspections of sheet metal stampings and manufactured assemblies.
- Apply Statistical Process Control methods to monitor manufacturing quality.
- Record and maintain inspection results within applicable quality systems.
- Identify dimensional or workmanship-related nonconformances.
- Support investigation of manufacturing and quality issues.
- Verify completed components meet applicable drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements.
- Maintain inspection and quality documentation using applicable computer systems.
Pay Details: $22.00 to $27.00 per hour
