Field service technician role responsible for domestic and international machine installation, repair, troubleshooting, electrical work, mechanical assembly, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and automated equipment support.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Extensive technical experience, training, or certifications
  • Experience installing and repairing industrial machinery
  • Experience reading and following blueprints, specifications, and technical documentation
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments
  • Experience using hand tools
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing machine issues
  • Experience installing or repairing electrical wiring and electrical or electronic machine components
  • Experience installing machinery and equipment according to blueprints and specifications
  • Experience with hydraulic equipment
  • Experience with pneumatic equipment
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the United States and internationally

Preferred Skills

  • Foreign language skills in French, Chinese, Spanish, or German
  • Experience with programmable controllers
  • Experience with conveyors, robots, or automated machinery
  • Experience programming, installing, or repairing automated equipment
  • Experience repairing or replacing gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related components

Job Responsibilities

  • Travel throughout the United States and foreign countries to install and repair machines
  • Dismantle defective machines and install new or repaired parts according to specifications and blueprints
  • Use precision measuring instruments and hand tools during machine repair and installation
  • Diagnose and repair machines in customer environments
  • Install and repair electrical apparatus, including wiring and electrical or electronic machine components
  • Install machinery and equipment according to blueprints and technical specifications
  • Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain hydraulic equipment
  • Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pneumatic equipment
  • Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related components
  • Install, program, and repair automated machinery and equipment
  • Support automated equipment such as programmable controllers, conveyors, robots, and related systems


Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
