Sr Electrical Engineer
Designs and develops high-voltage pulsed power assemblies, capacitive discharge systems, associated drivers, and test equipment for advanced aerospace applications.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum 5 years of electrical design and development experience.
Minimum 2 years of analog circuit design experience.
Experience with high-voltage systems greater than 40 kV.
Experience with transformers and capacitor discharge applications.
Experience designing and developing pulsed power assemblies.
Experience with electrical component selection and tolerance analysis.
Experience performing laboratory or field testing and interpreting test results.
Knowledge of electronic design software such as Altium.
Preferred Skills
Experience with 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks.
Experience designing high-voltage capacitive discharge assemblies and associated drivers.
Experience incorporating thermal considerations into electrical and mechanical designs.
Experience designing products for manufacturability and testability.
Experience developing test equipment for high-voltage or pulsed power systems.
Experience supporting aerospace electrical systems.
Experience supporting products through pre-production, production, and customer testing.
Job Responsibilities
Develop pulsed power assemblies according to technical specifications and engineering requirements.
Design electrical and mechanical aspects of high-voltage capacitive discharge assemblies and associated drivers.
Develop and refine designs, including tolerance studies, component selection, and thermal considerations.
Prepare engineering specifications, parts lists, development estimates, and test and fabrication schedules.
Develop engineering reports and provide technical input for proposals.
Participate in design reviews and pre-production builds.
Debug and test electrical assemblies at laboratory and customer facilities.
Develop test plans, procedures, and experimental methods for product validation.
Conduct laboratory and field experiments and analyze test results.
Provide technical support for mature products in production.
Provide technical support related to high-voltage components, assemblies, and system integration.
Interface with suppliers and customers on technical requirements, component selection, testing, and product support.
Pay: 120k-130k

Pay Details: $120,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
