Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline

  • Minimum of five years of electronic circuit design and development experience

  • Experience designing circuits with electronic components

  • Experience with electronic design software

  • Ability to perform detailed electronic design and component selection

  • Experience performing tolerance studies

  • Knowledge of shock, vibration, and thermal design considerations

  • Experience preparing engineering specifications and parts lists

  • Experience supporting product test, debug, and qualification activities

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

  • U.S. citizenship

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance

Preferred Skills

  • Altium experience

  • PSpice or LTspice experience

  • Experience designing Electronic Safe and Arm Devices

  • Experience designing Ignition Safety Devices

  • Experience with electronic missile systems

  • Experience supporting tactical missile, precision munition, launch vehicle, or strategic missile programs

  • Experience with high-reliability military electronics

  • Knowledge of applicable Military Standards

  • Experience designing products for manufacturability and testability

  • Experience supporting energetic safety systems, firing modules, or detonator-related electronics

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop conceptual and detailed designs for electronic safe-and-arm and ignition safety devices

  • Design electronic systems to meet customer and program specifications

  • Develop and refine circuit designs for high-reliability missile applications

  • Select electronic components based on electrical, environmental, and reliability requirements

  • Perform tolerance studies and design analyses

  • Evaluate designs for shock, vibration, and thermal environments

  • Develop products with consideration for manufacturability and testability

  • Prepare engineering specifications, parts lists, labor estimates, and test schedules

  • Develop fabrication and pre-production build schedules

  • Write engineering reports and technical documentation

  • Support preparation of technical proposals

  • Participate in specification and design reviews

  • Support pre-production builds, hardware debug, and product testing

  • Support testing at internal, government, and customer laboratories

  • Coordinate design and sustainment activities with Quality, Manufacturing, and Program Management

  • Support product development from initial design through manufacturing and sustainment

Pay: 150k-160k/year
