Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
  • Minimum of five years of manufacturing management experience, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Experience with manufacturing equipment, automation, tooling, and process development
  • Experience developing and implementing manufacturing processes and value streams
  • Experience supporting new product introductions
  • Experience establishing bills of manufacturing, including validated process, tooling, labor, and equipment requirements
  • Experience implementing standardized work and manufacturing cells
  • Experience with lean manufacturing methodologies, including value stream mapping, 5S, SMED, Kanban, and Kaizen
  • Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action methods
  • Experience improving throughput, labor efficiency, equipment utilization, and process capability
  • Experience managing maintenance reliability and equipment uptime
  • Experience with CAD systems
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Experience with plastics manufacturing
  • Experience with silicone processing
  • Experience with rubber molding
  • Experience within medical device manufacturing
  • Experience supporting product and process transfers between manufacturing locations

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead manufacturing engineering, maintenance, and tooling functions
  • Define, develop, and implement manufacturing processes and value streams
  • Develop repeatable and scalable processes aligned with product requirements
  • Maintain accurate bills of manufacturing for processes, tooling, labor, and equipment
  • Evaluate and select external vendors, integrators, and technical partners
  • Develop and deploy standardized work using TWI methodologies
  • Design and implement manufacturing cells aligned with production, safety, and quality requirements
  • Support transfer of products and manufacturing processes between facilities
  • Drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance
  • Apply lean manufacturing tools to eliminate waste and improve operational performance
  • Establish and maintain standard work, process controls, and visual management systems
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action activities for recurring manufacturing issues
  • Improve production throughput, labor efficiency, equipment utilization, and process capability
  • Coordinate with production and quality functions to prioritize manufacturing improvements
  • Lead preventive and corrective maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability and uptime
  • Develop manufacturing engineers, maintenance personnel, and tooling resources
  • Oversee tooling development, maintenance, and production support activities


Pay Details: $125,000.00 to $135,000.00 per year
