Leads aerospace quality systems, compliance activities, inspection planning, corrective actions, audits, and quality team operations.
Job Requirements
- Experience working within an AS9100-certified aerospace manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of AS13100 aerospace engine supply-chain quality requirements
- Experience generating First Article Inspection Reports in accordance with AS9102
- Experience developing and maintaining Process Failure Mode and Effects Analyses
- Advanced Product Quality Planning experience
- Experience supporting NADCAP-certified CNC machining operations
- Experience leading root cause and corrective action investigations
- Experience managing Material Review Board processes
- Experience conducting internal and external quality audits
- Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management system policies and procedures
- Experience creating inspection plans and quality control documentation
- Experience training personnel on quality standards, procedures, and inspection requirements
- Experience managing quality personnel and departmental activities
Preferred Skills
- Aerospace engine component manufacturing experience
- CNC machining quality experience
- Supplier quality management experience
- Experience preparing for AS9100, AS13100, NADCAP, and customer audits
- Experience with nonconformance management and disposition processes
- Experience developing control plans, process documentation, and quality metrics
- Experience overseeing quality system certifications and recertification activities
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain compliance with AS9100, AS13100, AS9102, NADCAP, and applicable customer requirements
- Develop and maintain quality management system policies, procedures, and work instructions
- Generate and review First Article Inspection Reports
- Develop and update PFMEAs and APQP documentation
- Create inspection plans for manufactured components and production processes
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action activities
- Manage nonconforming material through the Material Review Board process
- Plan, conduct, and document internal quality audits
- Coordinate external, customer, regulatory, and certification audits
- Track audit findings, corrective actions, and closure evidence
- Support NADCAP compliance for CNC machining and applicable special processes
- Train employees on quality procedures, standards, and inspection requirements
- Review quality records, inspection results, and process documentation
- Manage quality department personnel, assignments, and performance requirements
- Monitor quality system effectiveness and implement process improvements
Pay Details: $110,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
