CNC Maintenance Mechanic responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machines with a focus on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship required
  • 5+ years of experience working with CNC machines
  • CNC maintenance experience
  • Mechanical maintenance experience
  • Electrical troubleshooting experience
  • Experience troubleshooting hydraulic systems
  • Experience troubleshooting pneumatic systems
  • Experience performing preventative maintenance on CNC machines
  • Experience replacing CNC machine components
  • Experience reading and interpreting technical manuals
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints
  • Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics
  • Experience using diagnostic tools
  • Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout procedures
  • Knowledge of machine safety protocols

Preferred Skills

  • Strong mechanical background with electrical troubleshooting experience
  • Experience replacing bearings, ballscrews, spindles, motors, sensors, gears, and belts
  • Experience maintaining CNC spindles and drive components
  • Experience supporting production machine uptime
  • Experience diagnosing CNC alarms
  • Experience maintaining related facility systems
  • Experience with precision tools and machine components

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance on CNC machines
  • Conduct routine lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, and inspections
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues involving spindles, gears, belts, and related components
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues on CNC equipment
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic system issues
  • Troubleshoot pneumatic system issues
  • Diagnose CNC machine alarms and equipment failures
  • Identify root causes of machine downtime
  • Replace worn or damaged machine components
  • Replace bearings, ballscrews, spindles, motors, sensors, gears, and belts
  • Maintain machine stability and operational performance
  • Maintain related facility systems supporting CNC operations
  • Work with production teams to resolve machine issues
  • Return CNC machines to service after repairs
  • Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures during maintenance and repair activities
  • Document maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activity


Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
