Process Engineer responsible for supporting plastics injection molding processes, production launches, qualification activities, and variation reduction initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Technical education in Plastics Engineering, Engineering, Polymer Science, or related field
  • 5+ years of plastics injection molding experience
  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience
  • Experience applying scientific molding principles
  • Experience providing process and technical support for thermoplastic materials
  • Experience supporting new product launches in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with process implementation, production readiness, and variation reduction
  • Experience supporting Installation Qualification, Operational Qualification, and Performance Qualification activities
  • Experience working with tooling, manufacturing, and project teams

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with a wide range of thermoplastic materials
  • Experience ensuring new products are ready for production prior to release
  • Experience providing upfront process input to tooling teams
  • Experience training production staff on work methods, troubleshooting, and problem solving
  • Experience reporting to or working directly with plant management
  • Experience owning Performance Qualification activities

Job Responsibilities

  • Support implementation of new manufacturing processes at production facilities
  • Provide process engineering support for plastics injection molding operations
  • Apply scientific molding principles to troubleshoot and improve molding processes
  • Support production launches and new product introductions
  • Ensure new products are ready for production prior to release
  • Provide upfront input to tooling teams during product and process development
  • Participate in Installation Qualification and Operational Qualification activities
  • Own and execute Performance Qualification activities
  • Provide technical support for processing thermoplastic materials
  • Support manufacturing and project teams during process implementation
  • Lead variation reduction initiatives within molding operations
  • Develop and train production staff on work methods, troubleshooting, and problem-solving processes


Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
