Tool Crib Technician responsible for tool inventory, tool setup, grinding and cutting, inspection, issuing, and support of machining operations.

Job Requirements

  • 2–4 years of Tool Crib and/or Toolmaker experience

  • Experience with tool grinding

  • Experience with tool cutting

  • Experience using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel

  • Experience with inventory software

  • Experience with order processing systems

  • Ability to read tool lists and setup sheets

  • Ability to inspect and measure tools for wear and defects

  • Ability to lift at least 30 pounds

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting CNC machinists

  • Experience setting up cutting tools and hand tools

  • Experience creating and maintaining job boxes

  • Experience labeling and organizing fixtures

  • Experience using precision inspection tools

Job Responsibilities

  • Receive, store, organize, and issue cutting tools, hand tools, fixtures, and related tooling

  • Maintain tool and inventory levels within computerized inventory systems

  • Set up tools according to tool lists and setup sheets

  • Issue tools and provide tooling support to machinists

  • Create job boxes for machining operations

  • Label and organize fixtures and tooling

  • Inspect and measure tools for defects and wear

  • Perform visual inspections of tooling

  • Support tool grinding and tool cutting activities

  • Maintain accurate inventory and order processing records



Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
