Swiss CNC Programmer/Machinist responsible for programming, setting up, operating, and inspecting multi-axis CNC lathes for close-tolerance components.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Approximately 7 years of experience programming and setting up Swiss CNC machines

  • Experience with Integrex machines

  • Experience programming, setting up, and operating multi-axis CNC lathes

  • Ability to create fixtures and tooling

  • Experience machining metals, exotic metals, and plastics

  • Experience with GD&T and close-tolerance machining

  • Experience inspecting completed work

  • Experience troubleshooting machining issues

  • Experience recommending and selecting tooling

  • Ability to interpret engineering specifications, blueprints, and sketches

Preferred Skills

  • SolidWorks experience

  • CMM experience

  • Experience developing machining processes for complex components

  • Experience with precision inspection methods and equipment

Job Responsibilities

  • Program, set up, and operate CNC multi-axis lathes

  • Program and set up Swiss CNC machines

  • Operate Integrex machining equipment

  • Interpret engineering specifications, blueprints, and sketches

  • Determine machining processes, tooling, fixtures, and programming requirements

  • Create fixtures and tooling for machining operations

  • Machine components from metals, exotic metals, and plastics

  • Produce components to GD&T and close-tolerance requirements

  • Inspect completed parts to verify dimensional and specification compliance

  • Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues

  • Recommend tooling and process adjustments as needed



Pay Details: $30.00 to $33.00 per hour
