Avionics Verification Engineer responsible for testing and validating existing system and software requirements for compliance with ARP4754 and DO-178 standards.

Job Requirements

  • Experience with ARP4754 processes and requirements

  • Experience with DO-178 software development and verification standards

  • Experience testing and verifying aerospace system and software requirements

  • Experience with Flight Management Systems (FMS) and/or flight control systems

  • Experience reviewing existing requirements for compliance with aerospace development standards

  • Knowledge of requirements-based verification and testing

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with avionics systems

  • Experience with requirements traceability and verification evidence

  • Experience supporting certification activities for airborne systems and software

  • Experience developing or executing verification test procedures

Job Responsibilities

  • Test existing system and software requirements for compliance with ARP4754 and DO-178 standards

  • Review requirements for completeness, testability, and verification coverage

  • Develop and execute requirements-based verification activities

  • Document verification results and supporting evidence

  • Identify requirements or test results that do not meet applicable aerospace standards

  • Support verification activities for Flight Management Systems and flight control applications

  • Maintain traceability between requirements, test procedures, and verification results

  • Support certification documentation and compliance activities



Pay Details: $51.00 to $69.00 per hour
