Senior Mechanical Designer responsible for developing advanced 3D models, 2D drawings, tolerance analyses, and mechanical design documentation using NX1980 and Teamcenter.

Job Requirements

• 10+ years of experience using NX with Teamcenter.

• 5+ years of recent experience working as a mechanical designer.

• Demonstrated proficiency with NX1980 CAD.

• Ability to create advanced 3D CAD models.

• Ability to create detailed 2D engineering drawings.

• Experience applying GD&T in accordance with ASME Y14.5-M-1994 or later standards.

• Experience performing tolerance and stack-up calculations.

• Experience developing layout designs and detailed mechanical drawings.

• Ability to complete NX1980 proficiency evaluation during the interview process.

• Ability to work onsite.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing engineering data and drawings within Teamcenter.

• Experience supporting complex mechanical design projects.

• Experience developing production-ready CAD models and drawings.

• Experience with advanced NX modeling features and design workflows.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical designs and engineering drawings using NX1980.

• Create and maintain advanced 3D CAD models.

• Develop detailed 2D engineering drawings from approved design models.

• Apply GD&T requirements in accordance with applicable ASME Y14.5 standards.

• Perform dimensional tolerance and stack-up calculations.

• Develop mechanical layout designs and detailed component documentation.

• Maintain CAD models and drawing revisions within Teamcenter.

• Ensure 3D models and 2D drawings comply with project requirements and engineering standards.

• Complete design assignments under limited supervision.

• Support deadline-driven mechanical design and documentation activities.

Pay: 29-39/hr

Pay Details: $29.00 to $39.00 per hour
