Test Engineer
Summary: Electrical Test Engineer responsible for developing, improving, and implementing electrical test processes, relay and PLC verification, and test equipment solutions.
Job Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required.
Associate of Science in Electrical Engineering (ASEE) may be considered with relevant industry experience and active pursuit of a BSEE.
Experience with Schweitzer, Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or comparable PLCs, relays, and industrial control systems.
Test engineering experience developing, improving, and implementing electrical test processes.
Experience programming, configuring, testing, and verifying relays and control systems.
Experience evaluating and improving electrical test methods and processes.
Experience designing and building test equipment, fixtures, and test stations.
Preferred Skills
Experience with electrical testing and troubleshooting.
Experience building wire harnesses and electrical assemblies.
Experience with industrial controls and PLC-based testing systems.
Job Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and improve electrical testing processes.
Program, configure, test, and verify relays and PLC-based control systems.
Evaluate existing testing methods and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Design, recommend, and build electrical test equipment, fixtures, and test stations.
Establish methods and procedures for testing electrical products and control systems.
Improve test efficiency, quality, reliability, and repeatability.
Troubleshoot electrical testing issues and support resolution of test failures.
Provide technical direction to Test Technicians regarding testing procedures and equipment.
Support continuous improvement and optimization of electrical test processes.
Pay: 75k-95k/yr
