Planner-Scheduler-Cost Controller
Planner / Scheduler / Cost Controller responsible for project planning, scheduling, cost control, forecasting, and project controls support across large industrial engineering and construction projects.
Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management from an ABET-accredited university.

5–10 years of experience in planning, scheduling, and cost control for industrial engineering and construction projects.

Experience developing, maintaining, analyzing, and reporting project schedules.
-
Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
-
Experience importing and exporting schedules between Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Excel.
-
Experience working within engineering/procurement or engineering/procurement/construction (EP/EPC) project environments.
-
Working knowledge of project cost management, forecasting, and cost reporting.
-
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).
-
Knowledge of Rules of Credit.
-
Knowledge of Management of Change (MOC) within engineering environments.
-
Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects.
-
Proficiency with SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Teams.
Preferred Skills
-
Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) certification.
-
PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) certification.
-
Earned Value Management certification.
-
Familiarity with AACE International Recommended Practices.

Knowledge of Levels of Schedule.
-
Knowledge of Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) methodology.

Experience with international industrial project procurement practices.

Knowledge of engineering project execution methodologies.
-
Experience coordinating interfaces between engineering, procurement, and construction disciplines.
Job Responsibilities
-
Develop and maintain engineering, design, procurement, and construction schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
-
Develop schedules for proposal preparation, pre-feasibility, feasibility, detailed engineering, procurement, and construction phases.

Conduct schedule development workshops and schedule review meetings.
-
Coordinate schedule inputs from project management, engineering, design, procurement, project controls, document control, construction, and other project functions.
-
Prepare and issue schedule reports in accordance with project execution plans and project controls procedures.
-
Monitor, analyze, and update schedules for multiple projects.
-
Track project milestones, schedule performance, and critical path activities.
-
Identify schedule risks, variances, and critical path impacts.
-
Develop corrective schedule actions and recovery recommendations.
-
Integrate engineering and procurement schedules with construction contractor schedules.
-
Support development and improvement of scheduling procedures and project controls processes.
-
Assist with development of project cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts.
-
Prepare and maintain cost control reports.
-
Support budget monitoring, cost tracking, and performance measurement.
-
Support project reporting and forecasting activities.
-
Apply Earned Value Management, Rules of Credit, and Management of Change processes to project controls activities.
Pay Details: $42.00 to $57.00 per hour
