CNC Programmer

CNC Programmer responsible for developing Mastercam programs, creating manufacturing models, and defining machining processes for precision aerospace components.

Job Requirements

• 2+ years of CNC programming experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.

• Proficiency with Mastercam programming.

• Experience programming CNC milling centers.

• Experience programming CNC turning centers.

• Experience with fixture design.

• Experience with tooling selection.

• Experience creating and modifying 3D manufacturing models.

• Experience developing machining processes and cutting routers before material procurement.

• Experience supporting CNC machining processes from concept through production.

Preferred Skills

• Experience optimizing machining strategies for aerospace components.

• Experience with process development for high-precision manufacturing.

• Experience supporting production machining and manufacturing engineering activities.

• Experience developing tooling, fixturing, and setup strategies.

• Knowledge of aerospace quality and manufacturing requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CNC programs using Mastercam.

• Program CNC milling and turning equipment.

• Create and modify 3D manufacturing models for machining operations.

• Develop machining strategies based on component geometry and manufacturing requirements.

• Design fixtures and select appropriate tooling for machining operations.

• Develop machine processes, setup requirements, and cutting routers prior to material procurement.

• Support machining processes from initial concept through production completion.

• Review and modify CNC programs to improve machining efficiency and process performance.

• Support production troubleshooting related to CNC programs, tooling, fixtures, and machining methods.

• Verify machining processes meet applicable aerospace quality and dimensional requirements.

Pay: 95k-100k/year
