Automation Engineer responsible for designing, configuring, testing, and commissioning DeltaV-based control systems in GMP-regulated environments.

Job Requirements

  • 2–8 years of automation experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with current Emerson DeltaV systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows platforms.
  • Thorough understanding of control system design and programming.
  • Experience configuring Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
  • Experience developing electrical panels, control architecture, and wiring drawings.
  • Experience working within GMP-regulated environments.
  • Experience with control system testing, commissioning, and qualification.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience developing lifecycle documentation.
  • Experience redlining P&ID documentation.
  • Experience supporting control system qualification activities.
  • Experience leading engineers and technicians on automation projects.

Job Responsibilities

  • Define and implement Emerson DeltaV DCS configurations.
  • Design and program control system applications.
  • Develop lifecycle documentation in accordance with GMP standards.
  • Develop electrical panel designs.
  • Develop control architecture drawings.
  • Develop wiring drawings.
  • Review and redline P&ID documentation.
  • Perform control system testing.
  • Support onsite commissioning and qualification activities.
  • Troubleshoot and modify automation and control system configurations.
  • Lead engineers and technicians in delivering control system solutions.


Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
