Manufacturing Process Engineer

Manufacturing Engineer responsible for preparing production-ready CNC programs, job packages, tooling information, setup documentation, and controlled manufacturing records for precision machining operations.

Job Requirements

• 2–4 years of Manufacturing Process Engineering experience.

• Experience supporting CNC milling and turning operations.

• Experience creating, reviewing, and releasing manufacturing job packages.

• Experience developing routers, setup sheets, tooling lists, and manufacturing documentation.

• Experience with manufacturing documentation and revision control.

• Experience maintaining drawings, models, CNC programs, and shop-floor documentation.

• Experience programming CNC equipment using Mastercam.

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, tolerances, and 3D models.

• Experience in AS9100 or other regulated aerospace manufacturing environments.

• Experience supporting high-precision manufacturing operations.

• Experience preparing tooling, fixture, workholding, and setup documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with both CNC milling and CNC turning.

• Experience modifying and maintaining existing CNC programs.

• Experience with production readiness and manufacturing job release processes.

• Experience with controlled documentation systems.

• Experience supporting aerospace or other regulated manufacturing environments.

• Experience with tooling selection and fixture development.

• Experience troubleshooting machining, setup, and production issues.

• Experience supporting engineering change and revision-control processes.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and maintain CNC milling and turning programs using Mastercam.

• Create and release complete manufacturing job packages.

• Develop routers, setup sheets, tooling lists, and production documentation.

• Review engineering drawings, 3D models, tolerances, and GD&T requirements before production release.

• Ensure manufacturing drawings, models, CNC programs, and shop-floor documentation are current and properly controlled.

• Prepare tooling, fixture, workholding, and setup information for machining operations.

• Support production readiness for assigned manufacturing jobs.

• Verify job documentation is complete before release to production.

• Support CNC machining operations with programming and setup information.

• Investigate and resolve manufacturing issues affecting job execution.

• Coordinate technical issue resolution with Engineering, Quality, Machining, and Production functions.

• Maintain revisions to CNC programs and manufacturing documentation.

• Support compliance with AS9100 and controlled manufacturing documentation requirements.

• Update manufacturing processes and documentation based on production changes and engineering revisions.

Pay: 90k-95k/year
