Mechanical Engineer
Mechanical Engineer responsible for hands-on mechanical design, prototyping, testing, and development of drone-related systems and components.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience.
- Entry-level candidates with applicable academic project management experience may be considered.
- Experience with mechanical design and CAD software.
- Ability to perform hands-on engineering work involving assembly, prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting mechanical design projects from concept through implementation.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SolidWorks.
- Experience with other 3D CAD platforms if SolidWorks experience is not available.
- Hands-on experience with drones, UAVs, RC aircraft, or similar electromechanical systems.
- Personal or academic project experience involving drone assembly, modification, testing, or operation.
- Experience with rapid prototyping and mechanical fabrication.
- Academic or professional project management experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Design mechanical components and assemblies using 3D CAD software.
- Support development of drone and UAV-related mechanical systems.
- Create and modify mechanical models, drawings, and design documentation.
- Build and evaluate prototypes.
- Perform hands-on assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and modification of mechanical systems.
- Support mechanical integration of components and subsystems.
- Evaluate mechanical designs for fit, function, manufacturability, and performance.
- Document design changes, test results, and engineering modifications.
- Support engineering projects through design, prototype, testing, and implementation phases.
Pay Details: $23.00 to $31.00 per hour
