Technical Sales Engineer responsible for supporting product sales, developing customer proposals, and delivering technical product and service presentations within the defense logistics market.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in product sales.
  • Experience within Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) or defense logistics environments.
  • Experience developing proposals in response to customer requirements and Requests for Proposal (RFPs).
  • Experience selling products that require technical or engineering expertise.
  • Experience delivering technical presentations covering products, services, and solutions.

Preferred Skills

  • Technical knowledge of mechanical engineering products and applications.
  • Experience translating customer technical requirements into product or service solutions.
  • Experience supporting technical sales activities throughout the proposal and sales process.
  • Knowledge of defense-related procurement and logistics requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Review customer requirements and identify applicable products, services, and technical solutions.
  • Support product sales activities involving technically complex products.
  • Develop technical content and responses for customer proposals and RFPs.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining product and service capabilities.
  • Provide technical sales support throughout the customer evaluation and purchasing process.
  • Work with sales functions to align product offerings with customer technical requirements.


Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
