Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer responsible for designing power and control systems for repeatable industrial capital equipment and supporting fabrication, assembly, and field implementation.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.

• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required.

• Ability to work 100% onsite in West Boylston, Massachusetts.

• Experience designing electrical systems for medium to large industrial capital equipment.

• Experience with repeatable equipment produced in quantities ranging from tens to thousands of units.

• Experience with automation controls, process controls, automated warehousing systems, or similar industrial equipment.

• Experience developing electrical designs for equipment approximately the scale of shipping-container-sized machinery.

• Experience designing power and control systems rather than PCB-level electronics.

• Knowledge of UL 508A requirements.

• Experience developing cable drawings, wire run lists, one-line diagrams, and interconnect drawings.

• Experience designing and laying out industrial control panels and control enclosures.

Preferred Skills

• AutoCAD Electrical experience.

• Experience with custom or semi-custom industrial equipment used on manufacturing floors or in field environments.

• Experience with repeatable capital equipment platforms rather than one-time plant or infrastructure projects.

• Experience with panel fabrication, electrical assembly, and equipment integration.

• Experience coordinating electrical enclosure layouts with mechanical design teams.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical.

• Design power distribution and control systems for industrial capital equipment.

• Create cable drawings, wire run lists, one-line diagrams, and interconnect drawings.

• Develop electrical documentation for control panels and equipment assemblies.

• Work with mechanical engineering teams to determine control box and enclosure layouts.

• Support panel fabrication and electrical assembly activities.

• Provide technical oversight during control panel and equipment assembly.

• Review wiring, cable routing, and electrical installations against design documentation.

• Make drawing and design revisions based on fabrication and assembly conditions.

• Support manufacturing-floor troubleshooting and resolve electrical design issues during equipment build and integration.

Pay: 56-75/hr

Pay Details: $56.00 to $75.00 per hour
